Reason: KGL will be installing drainage pipe, catch basins. This includes excavating small trenches in which to install the drainage pipe and then backfilling the area.

Work hours: This work will be done over the nightshift commencing at 10:00 pm to 7:00 am

Impacts: Flaggers will be stopping one lane of traffic to allow for heavy haul trucks to safely cross Sheriff King

Reason: Allow for KGL to haul waste material from the East side of Sheriff King St. to the West side to build an
approach for the bridge.

June 2nd-3rd - Macleod Trail and Highway 22X Traffic Realignment
Location: Traffic will be impacted in the following areas:
Highway 22X eastbound and westbound traffic between Chaparral Boulevard and Macleod Trail SW
Macleod Trail northbound and southbound between 194th Ave and 162nd Ave SW
Impacts: Highway 22X eastbound between MacLeod and Chaparral, traffic will now make a left-hand turning movement to access northbound Macleod Trail SW. Both northbound lanes on Macleod Trail will be crossed over into the South travel lane
Reason: Traffic realignment is required to complete final road construction on the northbound lanes of Macleod Trail
Start date: This work will be conducted overnight, on Tuesday June 2nd, 2020.
Completion date: Traffic will be realigned by 6:00 am on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020
Speed limit: The speed limit will be posted at 60 km/hr throughout the construction zone on northbound Macleod.

There will be a closure of the on-ramp to northbound Macleod Trail from eastbound Highway 22X and a right lane closure on northbound Macleod Trail. There closures will be taking place overnight on January 22nd to January 25th from 10:00PM – 06:00AM. Signage will be in-place to detour traffic around the closed on-ramp via Chaparral exit.
