Have you recently acquired a new garden or looking to ‘spruce’ up an existing one? The addition of a tree or shrub can be the backbone of your garden design, elevating it to the next level of enjoyment. Join us in Gardening with Trees and Shrubs to discover the variety of attractive and hardy species available to revamp your home and garden. Learn to maximize the health of your tree and/or shrub by understanding the various microclimates within your garden, water conservation strategies, and the importance of mulch. Did we miss something? Don’t fret; there is an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation to ensure everyone feels confident about the fresh addition to their property.

NOTE: Minimum registration for programs is 10 persons. If minimums are not met programs will be cancelled 1 WEEK prior to the program date. ReTree YYC will try to accommodate those affected by the cancellation into other ReTree YYC programs in the closest community.

If you have the skills, knowledge and/or the enthusiasm to get involved in planning what is developed in Calgary Evergreen. We have a position for you.
The Development Director position on the Board of Directors is vacant.
This position would be in charge to help oversee and coordinate what amenities and other developments we can build in Evergreen.
Sure we can raise as much money as we want, but if we do not have someone formulating plans, and getting input from the community nothing will happen.

For CECA to build amenities in the Evergreen Community Park, including but not limited to, rink, hall, gardens, playground, etc. We would need $1M+ to raise in funding.
The best way to do this is with casino funds. We can take those casino funds and double them with government and other organization matching grants.
Currently we do not qualify for casino funds, because we have not had regular scheduled community programming running for two consecutive years. (e....g. soccer camps, learn to skate, etc.)
Here is where you can help. We need a Recreation Director and volunteer program leads, to organize programming. Once we have reached two years and beyond, we will qualify for casino funds.
