Update on SWRR gravel pit west of Bridlewood.
The morning of Apr. 11, MLA Dave Rodney 's constituency office advised that a meeting has been set up with Alberta Transportation officials to answer questions from residents in Evergreen, Bridlewood, concerning construction of the ring road, the gravel pit, and the asphalt processing plant. Dave Rodney will be present, along with Alberta Transportation personnel. The meeting will take place on THURSDAY APRIL 20, from 7:30 to 9 pm IN THE COMMON ROOM AT GLENMORE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY. This room is accessed through the Jr. High south door along Bridleridge Hts. This meeting will be a good opportunity to direct questions to Alberta Transportation officials and among other things, find out what specific mitigation procedures will be put in place to ensure the health and safety of residents during the years of construction. MLA Rodney has been working long and hard for us in the fight against this gravel pit/asphalt plant; & is hoping that there will be a good turnout. If you have friends in Bridlewood or in Evergreen please encourage them to attend this meeting. We hope there will be strong representation from our communities of Bridlewood and Evergreen.
