Shed & Stage of Evergreen
A Weekend of Hard Work, Helping Hands and Community Spirit!
Around June 2026, as one season was coming to an end and the community was getting ready for the months ahead, a few familiar faces were once again behind the scenes, quietly doing the work that helps keep Evergreen running.
It was a busy weekend, and Kevin and Doug, two of our long-time and dedicated volunteers, were ready to lend a hand.
The first task was an important repair to the community shed. Some of the siding had been damaged and needed attention. Working together, Kevin and Doug carefully removed the damaged sections, replaced them with new materials, and reinstalled the remaining siding. Piece by piece, the shed was restored—not only improving its appearance, but also helping ensure that this shared community space remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
For those passing by, it might have looked like just another repair job. But behind the scenes, it was another example of the care and commitment that volunteers bring to our community. By the end of the weekend, another season had been wrapped up, the shed had received some much-needed care, and the community was one step closer to being ready for the season ahead.These are the moments that often happen quietly, away from the spotlight. Yet they are an important part of what makes a community strong.
