1/ Soccer Stations - 12:30 – 4:30pm
This event is to showcase the grassroots community soccer program put on by the Calgary Minor Soccer Association and what else they offer.
Kids will be able to try their skills at soccer to find out if it is a sport for them.
Equipment and certified coaches provided by the Calgary Minor Soccer Association
Stations will run all afternoon and provide opportunities for kids and parents to play, learn and
practices skills or challenge one another with a focus on fun!
Station 1 Skills stations (slalom dribbling, passing accuracy, shooting accuracy, juggling)
Station 2 Pick-up games
Station 3 Obstacle course
Station 4 Games designed to develop physical literacy
2/ Mobile Adventure Playground - 12:30 to 4:30
Provided by the Shawnee-Evergreen Community Association and their SECA PLAYS initiative.
Come play with us! Meet new friends, stretch your imagination and have fun!
Suitable for 2 to 12 years olds who will play in their own ways in their own spaces or they
may choose to play in mixed age groups, something that is uncommon these days but
extremely valuable.
Play Specialists will be on site though parents are asked to stay within sight.
