Christmas Lights Contest 2022
2022 Evergreen Christmas Lights Contest Results!
Congratulations to all those that entered the contest! We had 11 entries this year, but I am quite sure they inspired more people to put up their own lights, as Evergreen was covered in Christmas lights!
Remember if you wish you participate in the contest you must email [email protected] to enter, as this gives us permission to post the location of lights online and gives an entry for our judges to see. The judges mark the entries on Christmas Theme, Originality, Overall, and Bonus points for handmade items. Some outstanding entries this year!
Thank you to our judges of 2022 being: Bruno Boccaccio and Caryn Salageanu, Directors from CECA; Dan MacLean, Ward 13 City Councillor; Nancy Close, Ward 13 CBE School Trustee; and Mary Martin, Ward 13 CCSD School Trustee.
A BIG thank you goes to the Shawnessy Canadian Tire for sponsoring the $600 in prizes for the contest!
The winners of the contest are:
First place- 70 Everwillow Circle SW
Second place- 16174 Everstone Road SW
Third place- 1063 Everridge Drive SW
And two Honourable Mentions for: 16111 Everstone Rd SW and 52 Everwillow Blvd SW
Congratulations to everyone, especially those for taking the time to enter! Your show of community spirit is great!
If you have any questions about the contest and how you can enter next Christmas, email [email protected].
